Welcome to Achaderry Estate Self-Catering Accommodation in the Highlands of Scotland.
The Achaderry Estate in Roy Bridge near Fort William was for many years (until recently) home of Peter Hope 4th Baron Lord Rankeillour of Buxted and now owned and run by the Sims family. They said; “We fell in love with the estate as soon as we approached it one day. The spectacular views of Nevis Range were just awesome. We quickly discovered how idyllic the 400-acre estate would be for those seeking a self-catering holiday in the Scottish Highlands. So we set about tastefully restoring the farmhouse, a property dating back to 1859”.
Set in a rural location, the estate boasts an ancient woodland and is a Site of Special Scientific Interest (SSSI). The farmhouse, cottages and log cabins are children friendly, ideal for families and those with an adventurous spirit looking to explore nearby Ben Nevis and Fort William, as well as a host of other places. These locations are easily accessible from the estate.
The indoor hot tub in the farmhouse is a most welcome extra that is loved by our guests.
For those in a wheelchair the ground floor (including a bedroom) can be re-arranged so that the user has total accessibility. Please phone for more information on this matter.
Tim & Wendy Sims look forward to welcoming you to their Scottish retreat and hope you fall in love with it as they have!
You can follow the latest news and how things are going in the estate on our Facebook, Instagram or Twitter Page.
